Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO and International Orders

If you live in Alaska, Hawaii or anywhere else besides the lower 48 states and the District of Columbia, and you wish to place an order for one or more of our products, you will be unable to place the order through the automated shopping cart, which is only set up to handle ground shipment orders in the Continental United States.   Please follow the procedures below if you live outside the Continental United States. 

Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO

                                                              

1.  Contact one our sales reps on the Contact Us page, and we will put together a total for the merchandise you are interested in.  If you have any questions on any of the products, we will be happy to answer those, too.

2.  Our Sales Rep will then give the order to the appropriate person for a shipping quote.

A.  If the order consists of accessories and smaller items that can be mailed, we will ship the order through U.S.P.S. by either Priority Mail or First Class, depending on the size of the package.  Our shipping person will send you a quote(s) for postage. Keep in mind that the quote is an approximate postage value and may vary slightly at the actual time of shipping, based on the actual weight and dimensions of the package with packing material included.  Actual charges will also include any additional insurance needed.  

B.  If you approve the quote, you will be charged the actual amount of postage, insurance and a $6.00 handling fee, which will be added to the merchandise total.  You will need to call us with a credit card over the phone during our regular business hours.  DO NOT send the credit card number to us via email, as that is not a secure encrypted link.  All items will be billed to your credit card prior to shipping.  You will receive an email with the final invoice, and tracking info, if it is available for the shipping service selected.

C.  If the order is for a larger oversized accessory, like a car rack, or a bike or trike, we will ship the order through the least expensive freight company that delivers to your area.  Our shipping person will provide a quote that includes freight, insurance and handling fees.  Actual charges may vary slightly at the time of shipping based on the weight and dimensions of the package.

 D.  If you approve the quote, you will be charged the actual amount of freight, insurance and handling, which will be added to the merchandise total.  You will need to call us with a credit card over the phone during our regular business hours.  DO NOT send the credit card number to us via email, as that is not a secure encrypted link.  All items will be billed to your credit card prior to shipping.  You will receive an email with the final invoice, and tracking info, if it is available for the shipping service selected.

3.  If you wish to return an item, you are responsible for return freight or postage.  Please refer to our Returns Page for proper return procedure.

4.  If an item arrives in damaged or defective condition, please save all packing materials and refer to our Returns Page for proper procedure. 

International Orders

Keep in mind that the quote is an approximate postage value and may vary slightly at the actual time of shipping, based on the actual weight and dimensions of the package with packing material included.  Actual charges will also include any additional insurance needed.

C.  If the order is over $500 (including postage, insurance and handling), or is for a larger oversized accessory, like a car rack, or a bike or trike, we will ship the order through the least expensive method available to us that delivers to your area.  Our shipping person will provide a quote that includes freight, insurance and handling fees.  Actual charges may vary slightly at the time of shipping based on the weight and dimensions of the package.

 D.  If you approve the quote, you will be charged the actual amount of freight, insurance and handling, which will be added to the merchandise total.  You will need to arrange an international bank wire transfer.  A $30 bank wire transfer fee will also be added to your order total.  You will receive an email with the final invoice (including merchandise, freight or postage, handling fees and the $30 bank wire fee), and a PDF with international bank wire transfer instructions.  Please allow up to two weeks for the funds to be deposited in our bank account.  Once the funds are received at our bank, we will arrange for shipping and contact you with a final sales receipt and tracking info, if it is available for the shipping service selected.  Keep in mind that you are responsible for all applicable customs fees, duties, and taxes assessed by your country upon arrival of the merchandise.

3.  There are no returns on international orders.

4.  If an item arrives in damaged or defective condition, please save all packing materials and refer to our Returns Page for proper procedure.
