Help us help the Standing Rocks Mountain Bike Trails! Donate now to help build family friendly trails!
The Hostel Shoppe's mission is to help everyone of all ages and abilities experience the joy of cycling. We believe that bicycles not only have the ability to improve the health of our youth, but also to bring the power of opportunity, agency and freedom to those who have access to the power of cycling. The power of bicycles goes beyond winning races—they bring people and communities together, motivate us to become better humans and help us take advantage of what the world has to offer.
That's why we are partnering with Point Area Single Track Association (PASTA) and Outride Fund to raise funds for more family friendly, beginner and intermediate trails at Standing Rocks County Park. The Standing Rocks story begins in 2004 with an experimental single-track trail at Standing Rocks Park. Development continued to create a 14-mile technical mountain bike trail. In 2019, construction of 8 miles of family-friendly-machine-built flow trail began, with five miles completed by the end 2020. The remaining development is in process and should be finished in 2021. The development highlights beginner flow trails and advanced trails with fun features. The new development has quadrupled ridership in one year’s time!
PASTA wants to keep this momentum going and is looking to complete up to three more miles of Green and Blue trails this summer and they need our help! To do this, they will need to raise $30,000. That's where you and Hostel Shoppe come in. Now through March 13th, Hostel Shoppe is going to match all donations made on their Fundraising Page, up to $3,000! No donation is too small and right now it will go twice as far! You can also donate right through our site and all funds will be sent to PASTA.
