T-Cycle Battery Mount For ICE Suspended Trikes Pre 7/2015
Fits both the Sprint and the Adventure models with suspension pre-July 2015. This T-Cycle made Battery Mount for Suspended ICE Trikes comes with a shelf drilled to allow the mounting of many different batteries. Batteries are dense and difficult to carry. This mount lets you attach your battery to your ICE trike down low and out of the way. In fact, it lets you put the battery so out of the way that you can fold the trike with the battery attached! Down low is important for handling and stability—you don't want something as heavy as a battery on top of a rear rack. If you have been struggling with how to carry your battery, this elegant, simple solution is what you've been looking for! The T-Cycle battery mount attaches with a special mount through the suspension pivot, along with a stabilizing attachment up at the rack mount near the seatback adjustment. The suspension pivot is very strong, and is a great place to attach something heavy like a battery. Package includes spacers for the rack attachment point that work with or without a rear rack in place.
This T-Cycle Battery Mount is made specifically for ICE Trikes with Rear Suspension that were manufactured before 7/2015. For ICE Trikes with Rear Suspension that were manufactured prior to 7/2015, the T-Cycle Battery Mount For ICE Suspended Trikes Post 6/2015 should be purchased instead.
Important Product Notes:
- For trikes manufactured AFTER 7/2015, you will need the T-Cycle Battery Mount For ICE Suspended Trikes Post 6/2015.
- This battery mount does not fit the ICE Full Fat models. Instead, for the Full Fat, ICE recommends using the T-Cycle Configurable Battery Mount with 1.75" Clamp and mounting the battery to the main tube below the seat.
- Depending on the type of battery and mounting plate/rail you are using, you may also need to purchase a T-Cycle Battery Mount Adapter Shelf, which has a larger assortment of mounting holes.
- There is also an ICE Battery Suspension Pivot Mount for Trike Without Rack, which positions the battery in a nose-down orientation. Fits post 6/2015 ICE Suspension Trikes only (without rack).
- If your post 6/2015 ICE Trike with Suspension has an ICE Suspension Rear Rack mounted on it, then order the ICE Battery Mount For Suspension Racks instead.
