Join the Hostel Shoppe women in a conversation about cycling. "Get the Gals Riding" is geared toward women ages 14+ who are new to cycling or who are experienced, but may need some guidance.

• Join an open Q&A session about riding topics ranging from cycling basics to training and racing, trail etiquette, bathroom breaks, chamois knowledge, nutrition and more.

Spokes Fighting Strokes Free Adaptive Cycling Clinics

Empowering people of all abilities to get out and experience the freedom to ride is an important mission of Hostel Shoppe and Spokes Fighting Strokes. These clinics show how people who have had strokes or been affected by other disabilities and balance issues can cycle and improve their health and well-being. Focus on your abilities, not your disabilities. Learn more about our FREE Adaptive Cycling Clinics happening in Marshfield and Stevens Point.
6th Annual Pedal Point Rally
Friday & Saturday, July 18 & 19, 2025
The Pedal Point Rally is our biggest event of the year, attracting hundreds of recumbent riders and vendors from all over the world.
Pedal for a cause at the 6th Annual Pedal Point Rally! The Pedal Point Rally is a two-day celebration of cycling for all ages and all types of riders, with proceeds from the ride going to benefit Spokes Fighting Strokes Adaptive Cycling. Whether you ride a bike or trike, or even if you're pulling kids in a trailer, all are welcome. You can register for Friday and Saturday, or just Saturday, and kids 15 and under ride FREE!
3rd Annual Standing Rocks Enduro Mountain Bike Race
Sunday, August 17th, 2025
This is a fun, action packed event for racers of all ages and a great event for spectators at Standing Rocks County Park. Hosted by the Standing Rocks Enduro Event Crew, Point Area Singletrack Association (PASTA), and Standing Rocks County Park. Event proceeds raised from this event will go back into maintaining and developing the mountain bike trails at Standing Rocks County Park. 9th Annual Iola Snow Bully Fat Bike Race

Hostel Shoppe is a proud sponsor of the annual Iola Snow Bully Fat Bike Race. The Iola Snow Bully Fat Bike Race is the kickoff event for the Iola Winter Carnival. Scott Cole, the Hostel Shoppe General Manager, is the organizer of this fun event, which is hosted at Iola Winter Sports Club. Proceeds from the event go to benefit the Iola Winter Sports Club, helping pay for cross country ski trail maintenance and the Youth Ski Program.
Share the Love: “The Gift of Life - An Organ Trail Story” Documentary Screening

Recently, Hostel Shoppe had the honor of showing an early movie premier of the documentary “The Gift of Life: An Organ Trail Story”, a new 28-minute documentary about The Organ Trail, a not-for-profit initiative raising awareness about kidney health and the need for living kidney donors, during our Share the Love Event. The event took place at the Hostel Shoppe on Saturday, February 15 and participants enjoyed the movie screening and enjoyed pulled pork sandwiches, hors d'oeuvres, beverages and a complimentary swag bag!
