Order Cancellation

If you would like to cancel or modify your order, you must contact Hostel Shoppe as soon as possible.  We pride ourselves on fast and efficient shipping, with many orders being processed on the same business day. Therefore, we recommend calling the store at 1-800-233-4340 to ensure your requests are handled before your original order ships.  If your call is forwarded to voicemail, we also recommend sending an email to shipping@hostelshoppe.com.  Depending on the situation, order modifications may require the full cancellation and refund of your original order and placing a new order on our website.  Customers requesting to cancel an order before tracking has been added, will receive the full order amount, shipping and applicable taxes back to the original form of payment.  Once tracking has been provided, an order cannot be cancelled. Instead, the customer must return the order to Hostel Shoppe and a refund (less shipping) will be processed in accordance with our standard Return Policy.

Pre-Order Cancellation
When you purchase a pre-order item, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory at Hostel Shoppe. The item will ship from the vendor's warehouse to the Hostel Shoppe. We collect a full deposit at checkout and contact you about the fulfillment date. A pre-order item cannot be canceled once it has been shipped from the manufacture warehouse. Lead times on pre-orders vary by vendor and published times are based on our best estimates of product arrival.  Once the item arrives at the Hostel Shoppe, we prepare the order and ship it to you and contact you with the tracking information or pick-up arrangements.
