Riding for a Cause!
Rally Parking
The Hostel Shoppe parking lot will be open on Friday for Rally participants. Friday Overflow parking is available at Fitness 212, GI Associates (limited) and Point Place Dental in the designated areas.
The Hostel Shoppe parking lot will be closed on Saturday for rally activities. Parking is available at Clifton Larson Allen, 212 Fitness, GI Associates (Limited Parking), Point Place Dental and Alacrity Wealth Advisors in designated areas.
Please respect our neighbors, who are kind enough to let us use their parking lots, by only parking in the designated areas within the red rectangles on the designated days. These businesses have reserved the rest of their lots for their customers.
All ride proceeds benefit Spokes Fighting Strokes!
Spokes Fighting Strokes was founded by Dan Zimmerman, who suffered a stroke in 2005 as result of Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT). Though recovery was difficult and took a long time, he is now able to do many things that were previously considered unattainable. His mission is to reach every stroke survivor and show them that recovery is possible! Through his Spokes Adaptive Cycling clinics, he helps stroke survivors gain independence, ability, hope, and freedom. The goal is to increase awareness about stroke and HHT (Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia), the cause of his stroke, and to make adaptive cycling available to the stroke community. While he and his organization focus on overcoming the hurdles of suffering a stroke, his empowering message and the products he highlights can help a wide range of people, such as those with traumatic brain injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, balance issues, limb loss or paralysis, or those on the Autism spectrum.Â
All proceeds from the ride and registration will go to support their mission of doing cross country tours with a fleet of demo trikes and adaptive equipment allowing people to demo the equipment, answer questions and help them regain their freedom.
