Heyday! is Salsa's most versatile fat tire bike. Its generous tire clearance allows for maximum floatation on soft surfaces, and many cargo mounts equip you to ride farther.

The Heyday! Advent is a machine made with adventure in mind. 26 x 4.6" tires have no trouble rolling over loose terrain or tracking through overgrown paths. The aluminum frame blends durability and weight savings with stable geometry for roaming far and wide. And Heyday!'s versatility is unmatched: Alternator 2.0 dropouts allow for multiple drivetrain setups; cargo mounts let you load up for a day or a week; your wheel and tire options also include 27.5 fat and 29+. All this, paired with microSHIFT's trusty Advent wide-range 9-speed drivetrain, will remove "unrideable" from your vocabulary.

• 6066-T6 Aluminum Frame: Top-shelf, double and triple-butted, heat-treated 6066-T6 aluminum tubing is used throughout the frame. This 6000-series aluminum has better strength and fatigue characteristics than 6061 and 7000-series aluminums, allowing for a stronger and lighter overall frame. Additionally, the tubing is strategically shaped and formed for additional stiffness and strength optimization in key stress areas.
• Heyday! Geometry: Heyday! geometry works extremely well in all conditions and use cases, whether it's riding groomed singletrack at your local trail, exploring a coastline, or embarking across the wild frozen expanses of Alaska. We use the shortest chainstays possible with a headtube angle and fork offset that place the rider’s center of gravity farther back. This combination of front and rear center is key to getting a fat bike that is stable, steers well in loose conditions, and still feels nimble despite the massive wheels and tires. A low bottom bracket also keeps the rider’s center of gravity low and makes dabbing, dismounting, and remounting easier.
• 26 x 4.6" Wheel and Tire Size: Heyday! rolls on 26 x 4.6" tires on 80 mm rims. This huge tire delivers massive traction, stability, and optimum floatation on soft surfaces such as ungroomed snow or loose sand.
• Bearpaw Fork: This carbon fork features a 150 x 15 mm thru-axle that boosts stiffness and improves steering precision. The fork also features our Three-Pack mounts for accessorizing with Anything Cages or water bottle cages.
• Optimal 1x or 2x Drivetrain with Narrow Q-Factor Cranks: The Heyday! frame is 1x and 2x-compatible and designed for premium drivetrain performance while maintaining narrow fat bike crank arms for less knee stress: 197 mm symmetrical rear end for modern rim and tire fit / 100 mm threaded bottom bracket / Rider-friendly narrow Q-factor cranks / Designed for 1x or 2x drivetrains / Up to a 32t max chainring for 1x setups; 36/24t max for 2x setups.
• Alternator Dropouts v1.0: The Alternator dropout delivers incredible drivetrain versatility. Run singlespeed or geared, QR or thru-axle, freehub or Rohloff.
