For the city as well as faraway places.
AZUB SIX is the ultimate universal recumbent bike . It is comfortable, ergonomic, efficient and beautiful, nimble enough for the city and stable enough for long straight roads. Its robust frame, semi-integrated headset, stiff rear fork and a fixed rear rack make it a durable bike suitable for everyday commuting as well as for expeditions tens of thousands of kilometres long. Which means you will be able to experience all the amazing features that the AZUB SIX offers from just tooling around to extreme rides as well.
From zero to six
For the folks at Azub, the SIX is the epitome of the entire evolution of Azub recumbent bikes. The first prototype had a 20” front wheel and 26” rear wheel so we can really call it the AZUB Zero. Since then it's been continuously refined, every single detail examined, and each and every rider experience has been transformed into an improvement. In 2011, Azub introduced an improved asymmetric fork along with other new technical details, but the new name of AZUB SIX didn’t come out until 2013. Ever since then, the SIX as well as all other AZUB recumbents have a sliding sleeve for the precise adjustment of the seat counting in millimeters, a superb system for the smooth and firm adjustment of the seat angle with locking nuts, improved mounting for the rear rack and revised geometry for even better riding experience.
Well pampered (Don’t bend, ride bent)
The comfort on this bike is provided not only by the rear suspension or the optional front suspension, but also by the position of the rider, whereby the crankset is positioned lower than the bottom of the composite ergonomic seat. Nevertheless, to ensure maximum comfort you need something extra. You need to merge with your bike completely and such connection can be arranged. Just adjust the seat angle, position of steering and the distance of the crankset exactly according to your needs. Our IPS system will allow you to do all this. We have been continuously improving it since 2000 and today we are more than happy with it. You see, we believe that the bike should adapt to the rider, not the other way round.
