The 9th Annual Snow Bully Fat Bike Race is hosted by the great members of the Iola Winter Sports Club. Be part of this fun event that kicks off the Iola Winter Carnival weekend! All event proceeds go towards helping the Iola Winter Sports Club maintain the trails that are used by Nordic skiers and the Iola Youth Nordic Ski program during the winter months.
Again for 2024, we will have chip timing for all racers along with LIVE updated race results during the event, allowing spectators to follow their favorite racer by smartphone outside at the fire pits, or to follow them on the monitor inside the warm lodge.
RACE LENGTHS: 1 Hour & 2 Hour race categories plus 1 Hour Junior 9-17 age Category. ALL RACES START TOGETHER @ 6:00 pm!
AGE CATEGORIES: Male & Female 9-17 Juniors, 15-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-99
AWARDS: Overall Male & Female winners in both the 1 HOUR and 2 HOUR plus Overall Age Category Awards.
REGISTRATION FEES:
- 12/17/2023 - 1/14/2024: $50 Online Registration All Adult Categories, Juniors $30.
- 1/15/2024 - 2/01/2024: $60 Online Registration All Adult Categories, Juniors $35.
- 2/02/2024 RACE DAY: Registration $65 (CASH or CHECK ONLY) All Adult Categories, Juniors $35 (CASH or CHECK ONLY). CLOSES at 5:45 pm.
SCHEDULE:
- 4:00 pm DAY OF RACE PACKET PICK UP & DAY OF REGISTRATION
- 4:00 pm PRE-RIDE OPENS
- 5:45 pm Registration CLOSES
- 6:00 pm ALL RACES START
- 8:30 pm to 9:00 pm AWARDS
RULES:
- Lights optional, not required. (Trail is lighted.)
- HELMETS REQUIRED!
- FAT BIKES ONLY!!! 3.8-inch Tire Width MINIMUM REQUIRED. NO MOUNTAIN BIKES or PLUS Size Bikes! No 3.8" or larger Fat Bike Tire, No Race!!!
