Need to Return An Item?

30 DAY RETURN POLICY

Unused, non-defective apparel, parts and accessories may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date for exchange or refund. Special orders are not returnable. Clearance items are not returnable. Items must be returned with ALL the original parts and packaging, including polybags and dust bags, hangtags on garments, boxes, nuts and bolts, etc. Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged. Used, altered or damaged items are not returnable.

Hostel Shoppe reserves the right to charge up to a 15% restocking fee based on the condition of the items and packaging when they are returned to the store. When possible, Hostel Shoppe will process refunds using the original form of payment minus any fees. If a gift card was used to make the purchase, your refund will be issued back to a gift card. Be sure to include a copy of your receipt so that you will be credited the proper amount. Return shipping costs are the purchaser's responsibility. If you have received an item in error, please call us at 800-233-4340 for assistance in resolving the problem. Hostel Shoppe will refund shipping costs of any merchandise sent in error.

RECUMBENT BICYCLE RETURNS*

If any bike or trike purchased from the Hostel Shoppe proves unsatisfactory; you may return it (using the same shipping materials) within TWO WEEKS of the delivery date, or it can be returned in person to the store. You will be charged 15% of the purchase price of the bike or trike as a rental/demo fee and we will refund the balance of the bike or trike, less any damage assessments, to you. You will be responsible for freight charges both ways (If you received a shipping discount on your bike or trike when purchasing, you will pay the original shipping fee plus the return shipping fee). We will refund half the price of any accessories used during the two-week test period. This return policy excludes special orders, electric assist bikes and trikes, highly customized bikes and trikes, and used bikes and trikes. Please call 800-233-4340 for a return authorization.

*This only applies to US residents in the contiguous 48 states. The return policy applies to stock configurations only - highly customized, electric assist, used or modified bikes and trikes are not returnable. Due to Federal regulations, our shipper cannot pick up from a residential address, so your returned bike or trike must be taken to a business address for pick up. This return policy only applies to new or demo bikes and trikes with a warranty. Does not apply to used bikes, used trikes or trade-ins.

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE

If you have a defective item, please call us regarding the proper warranty procedure for that product. Some manufacturers, like Schwalbe Tires for example, handle warranty claims directly with the consumer and have their own warranty procedures that must be followed. SHIPPING DAMAGE

Image of a damaged shipping package.In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, immediately notify us before returning the item so we may contact the shipper. All bike and trike shipments are insured, and the shipper's policy may be to send a representative to your home to inspect the damage and packaging. Remember to keep your original packaging and document the damage with photos before and after unpacking your order. If you are there to receive the package, please have the delivery driver note the damage on the delivery form before you sign for the package.
