Experiencing issues with the Hostel Shoppe site? We've had a few users report that some of our web pages aren't loading. Here's what you can do:
- Call our sales team for assistance placing an order at 800-233-4340 or at 715-341-4340. Please let them know you were having technical difficulties and after they have placed your order or answered your questions, they will transfer you to the web administrator, Jessie Bostic, so she can ask some questions and help you resolve the issues.
- Take screen shots of the issue or take a screen video using the Snipping Tool in Windows. For more info on how to use the Snipping Tool, visit Microsoft. For instructions on how to record video or screenshots on a Mac, watch this YouTube video. You will also need to let us know what web browser you are using and what version you have installed. Please let us know if you have questions on how to determine this. - Clear your cache and cookies in your web browser. Clearing cache and cookies in your browser is essential to keep your experience running smoothly, however, if not done regularly, your computer may begin to run into some issues regarding website performance. Clearing your cache and cookies will look slightly different depending on what browser you are using. Here's are more detailed step-by-step guides for different browsers:

Google Chrome
- Open Chrome: Launch the Chrome browser on your computer.
- Access Settings: Click the three dots (More) in the top-right corner of the Chrome window.
- Select "More tools": In the dropdown menu, click on "More tools".
- Choose "Clear browsing data": From the "More tools" menu, select "Clear browsing data".
- Choose Time Range: Select the time range for which you want to clear data (e.g., "Last hour," "Last 24 hours," "All time").
- Select Data to Clear: Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
- Clear Data: Click the "Clear data" button to initiate the clearing process.
- Close and Reopen (Optional): For the changes to take full effect, you may need to close and reopen Chrome.

- Open Firefox Settings: Click the three horizontal lines (menu button) in the top-right corner of the Firefox window.
- Go to Privacy & Security: Select "Settings" from the menu, then click "Privacy & Security" on the left-hand panel.
- Access Clear Data: Scroll down to the "Cookies and Site Data" section and click "Clear Data...".
- Select Data to Clear: In the "Clear Browsing Data" window, select the checkboxes next to "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content" (or other options you want to clear).
- Click Clear: Click the "Clear" button to remove the selected data.
- Close Settings: Close the "Settings" page; any changes will be automatically saved.

- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three dots (Settings and more) in the upper right corner.
- Select "Settings".
- Click on "Privacy, search, and services".
- Under "Clear browsing data," click "Choose what to clear".
- Choose the time range: (e.g., "All time").
- Select the checkboxes for "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
- Click "Clear now".
- Close and reopen Microsoft Edge.

- Open Safari and Go to Preferences: Launch Safari and click on "Safari" in the menu bar, then select "Preferences".
