Hase Freewheel Fixer Device

In physical therapy, the aim is often to keep the legs in motion.  In such cases, the Freewheel Locking Device is a big help.  This mechanism ensures that the front rider's legs will stay in motion throughout the ride.  The friction clutch allows the motion to stop when enough counter force is applied (e.g. in the case of cramping).

The Hase Freewheel Fixer Device is designed to work exclusively on the Hase Pino.  This device bypasses the Independent Pedaling System (IPS) and causes the front (stoker's) crankarms to continuously spin right along with the captain's crankarms.

The disengagable freewheel makes it possible to lock the freewheel in order to supress the independent pedaling of Captain and Stoker. The integrated slipping clutch allows to intercept peak loads and uncontrolled countermoves.
