Catrike 5.5.9. Recumbent Trike

The Catrike Mirror/Computer Accessory Mount attaches to the lower handle bar to easily allow you to mount a mirror and/or a bike computer display. Works with computers that have a rotational mounts. Mirror and computer not included. Choose from a right or left configuration based on when you sit on the trike.

The overall length of the mount is 190mm (7 ½ inches) long.  The mount is approximately 150mm (6 inches) high when mounted to the Catrike lower handle bar.  The outside tube diameter of the mount is 7/8” (inside diameter is appx ¾”), and the clamp diameter is 1” (clamps onto a 1” tube).

Extends your Mirrycle Mountain Mirror 1" out on your recumbent bike or trike for better visibility. Mirrycle Mirror not included.

The Mirrycle Mountain Handlebar Mirror mounts in minutes with the wrench that is included. The mirror is a 3" round, convex glass mirror with a wide field of view. It works best with twist shifters, as it plugs into the end of the handlebar. It is not compatible with bar-end shifters.

To extend the mirror out more for a better sight line, especially on trikes, use the Mirrycle Mirror Extension in conjunction with the Mirrycle Mirror.

Made in Germany, this mirror is a favorite. Its extremely durable design also includes multiple mounting devices, making it excellent for almost any over seat steering or underseat steering application. This is a convex mirror so objects are closer than they appear in the mirror. Includes internal handlebar mounting and external handlebar clamp mounting.  Mirror surface is 80mm in diameter.  Long Stalk (6") fits almost everything!

The Busch & Muller 701 Mirror was specifically designed for ebikes. With mounting on the left side handlebar, you can be certain that you won't be snuck up on by pesky traffic before you see it.

The mirror plugs into the end of the handlebar and is tightened with an Allen bolt, and the mount pivots on a vertical axis just outside of the handlebar. You can swing the mirror around, and when put back into its normal position, it will click into proper alignment. The inside diameter of the handlebar must be at least 16.7mm. The long dimension of the mirror is 115mm.

Great for recumbent trikes, this mirror also folds in for transport.

Incredibly versatile, the Adjustable Water Bottle Mount can hold up to two different water bottle holders in a variety of heights and angles. Either fine tune your angle for perfect reaching capability, or lock in to one of three preset positions for ease and maximum staying power; then bolt your water bottle holders at a height that works best for you! Bolts in place on any standard bottle mount location. Great for trikes, your bottles can be more vertical so no drips, the Adjustable Water Bottle Holder will make sure your bottle is never out of reach again!

The angle of the mast can be adjusted from straight up (perpendicular) down to 45 degrees. The mount can be attached facing backwards or forwards, so the effective range is 45 degrees forward to 45 degrees backward. There are 3 pairs of holes for mounting bottle cages on the mast. Two pairs are down low (where you usually want your bottles to be) and one pair is higher. The higher pair is used to mount the second bottle cage on the acute (inside) angle side when the mast is angled all the way down to 45 degrees.

• Mounts anyplace you can put a regular bottle cage. Holds 2 standard water bottle cages anywhere from 45 degrees to 90 degrees from the surface it's mounted on. Can be angled forward and back by reversing how it's attached.
• Made to hold 2 standard water bottle cages and designed to carry 2 water bottles worth of weight.
• Base is slotted to fit any bottle bosses in the standard bicycle range. 5mm threaded holes on the mast are centered on the standard. 3 pairs of holes are provided on the mast so you have both cage height options and to make sure there is clearance so your bottle won't touch your frame if it's on a cage on the acute (inside) angle side even if the mast is adjusted all the way down.
• CNC machined aluminum, black anodized and laser marked. We provide 5mm stainless button head bolts for both the frame attachment and the bottle cage attachments. We think the button heads look better and work better because the heads are wider and flatter. Wider works better on slotted things like bottle cages, and the flatter heads give more clearance so your bottles won't hit the bolt heads.
• Fits any bike/trike with standard bottle cage mounting bosses. This mount is most suitable for bikes and trikes where the existing bottle cage mount is basically horizontal, and you would prefer that it be more vertical. Can theoretically be attached to an add on (clamp on) mount, but the mount would need to be very strong if you want to run 2 bottles.

• Upper section of the flag pole is 1/4in diameter; the bottom section is 1/4in until the last 1.75in (4.5cm), where it is either 6mm or 1/4in for compatibility with various flag mounts.
• Flag is shaped for visual contrast, aerodynamics, and controlled flapping, even at high speeds.
• 3M brand reflectives are used on Accents, Tassel, and Spine and are rated for high effectiveness even when wet.
• The upper tip of the lower pole is red to indicate the end that is inserted into the upper pole. Slide the tapered red tip through the silicone grip collar until it is firmly seated in the ferrule on the lower end of the upper pole. Insert the bottom end of the lower pole into your flag mount. You can typically put your flag into the tube that runs down the side of your seat. Some trikes, such as ICE trikes, have a hole in the plastic top cap for that purpose. Others, like TerraTrikes, may require you to drill a slightly larger than 1/4 inch (about 6.5mm) hole in the top cap. Other trikes, such as Catrikes, come with a 6mm flag mount back on the rear dropout. The rear racks on HPVT trikes have flag mounts in them.
• The silicone gripper collar is designed to keep your poles from separating under all but the most extreme conditions. To separate the poles, pinch the collar around the lower pole until it wrinkles a little bit. This will break the suction and allow you to gently twist the lower pole out. If you try to just yank the pole out, the collar will tighten and grip even more. Pushing the collar up with a fingernail will also relax the collar and cause it to release it's grip on the pole.
• There is a plastic clip near the top of the flag. Inside the flag, on the end of the pole, there is a cap that cushions the end of the pole. The cap can't get past the clip. If you want to remove the flag from the pole for any reason, gently pry the clip off and slide the flag off the pole. The cap is designed to catch on the bottom of the flag as a backup. You will need to wriggle and twist to get the cap out the bottom of the flag.
• If it gets dirty, wipe your flag down with a cloth or old toothbrush dampened with soap and water. The colors are colorfast and UV resistant and cannot be scrubbed off.
• These flags maintain their cool even at high speeds. The unique shape is both attention getting and tuned for just the right amount of flap, even at high speeds. No noisy flappity flap, just a gentle, attention getting back and forth. An additional hi-vis tassel can be attached at the bottom of the flag.

Two things to note if you are going to use your new Catrike flag in the stock Catrike flag mount. First, the Catrike mount is 6mm, so be sure you have the right flag pole size. This handy little T-Cycle Flag Grommet fits into your Catrike Flag Mount and grips your flagpole, helping to keep it from falling out. It's that simple! It wedges into the upper window in the flag mount and grips the pole. It gives a nice amount of grip, enough to keep the pole from bouncing out but not so much that it's hard to get the pole in and out when you want to. Super simple and super effective.

How does it work?

• It's rubber, and it works by fitting into the upper window in the mount. The pole is exposed there, and the rubber grips it and keeps it from sliding out.

Installation Instructions:

• Simply snap it in most of the way with your fingers, then use a flat bladed screwdriver to pop the rest of the ring into place. You can do it with the mount still on the trike, but it's easier on a workbench. Then, insert your pole. You will be able to feel how it grips the pole on the way in and the way out.

• T-Cycle searched all over for this particular grommet. It's an odd size, considerably thicker than most. The thickness is needed to mate up with the flag mount.

Ever wanted to attach a computer, GPS, motor controller, or phone right near your hands? Ever wanted to attach something like a mirror to the ends your handlebars, but you have Bar End Shifters, so there wasn't any way to do it? Well, now there is!

This mount uses a special clamp with a Cable Tunnel in it that attaches to the end of your handlebars right under your Bar End Shifters. The clamp goes forward and inward a little bit and holds mounting tube that goes up and then out. Since the clamp goes inward a little bit, your hands slide right past it. You'll barely notice it's there as you go from braking to shifting and back. What you will notice is that your mirror is now right where you want it to be, and that you can easily see your phone and operate the buttons on your motor controller.

Since your hands need to move up and down from the brakes to the shifters and back, the clamp is angled and specially shaped to stay out of the way. It's curved and doesn't have any sharp corners, so as your fingers brush past it, you'll hardly notice it's there. The L shaped tubular mount goes up and out, putting an adjustable height horizontal tube about 2 inches (50mm) above and in front of the shifters. It works on both the left and right sides by simply flipping the components around.

Cockpit mounts are a new way to hold things like cycle computers, mirrors, GPS units, cameras and phones close at hand, right where you want them. Unique articulated mounting system lets you work around obsticales and put things right where you want them. Quick attach open ended mounts- no need to slide on past anything, so there's no need to remove anything first when mounting the cockpit mount. See Specifications for more details.

• This Cockpit Mount Kit is designed to attach to a 1.0in (25.4mm) Horizontal Tube, as found on Catrikes.
• A 90 degree elbow tube allows you to rotate the attachment clamp up or down on the horizontal steering arm. The 5in (125mm) wide T Bar attaches to the other side of the elbow tube. You can rotate the T Bar around on the vertical part of the elbow in order to move the T bar in and out.
• You can position the Cockpit mount anywhere forward and back on the steering arm that you would like. Most people like their Cockpit Mount either close to their controls or further forward near the head tube. When the T Bar is close to the head tube, it will only move in a small arc as you steer. This is a good place for a mirror, because the mirror won't move very much as you turn.
• By putting the right amount of tension on the clamps, you'll find it's very easy to move things around and find the ideal position for everything. Once you've determined your ideal position, just tighten the clamps to lock everything in place.
• The T Bar is 7/8in diameter, so anything that's made to attach to a handlebar will be happy there. To attach a mirror inside the T Bar, simply remove one end cap and install the mirror as if it were on the end of a regular handlebar.
• The clamps are machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum and black anodized. The tubes are 6061-T6 seamless aluminum, welded and powder coated.
• Note that while Cockpit Mounts are plenty strong for holding accessories, they are not strong enough to serve as an exit assist.

This nifty little two part mount consists of a clever little low profile clamp that attaches to your handlebars and an accessory mounting tube that attaches to the clamp. The clamp can go almost anywhere- all it needs is 1/2 inch (12mm) of straight handlebar and you can fit it in. The accessory mounting tube we stock is a 90 degree L that measures 1.75 inches (45mm) along the inside of the legs. It is 7/8 (22.2mm) diameter and hollow, so standard handlebar accessories can fit on the outside, and things like mirrors can fit on the inside.

Well now, that's a clever little thing!" We tend to hear that a lot about this little mount. It replaces the special bolt on the fixed (non lever) side of your bar end shifter and adds a nice little spot to attach smallish things like motor controls, cycle computers, and electronic shifter buttons. The outside diameter is 7/8" (22.2mm), so all kinds of standard bike things can go there. We make different versions for Shimano, Microshift, and SRAM shifters, because, of course, they are all different. We also make them in short and regular lengths, to match what you need to put there. They are machined from a solid bar and hollowed out for lightness and in case you wanted to put something in them.  A plastic cap is included in case you only want to attach things on the outside.

These Catrike Exit Assist Bars are the perfect solution for those struggling with entering/exiting a trike comfortably. The bars are centered over the front wheels, to help reduce movement in the trike while getting in and out to help provide extra stability to those who need it. The Exit Assist Bars feature a foam grip to prevent slipping, and they are positioned close to the rider's arms to offer the best ease of use while already seated, or while stepping in/out.
